The two modes

What is free and what needs the service

The module installs once and brings two ways of working. The first one does not depend on us at all: it reads the text the PDF already carries inside, in your browser, without sending the document anywhere. The second one is the one that reads photos and scans and fills the invoice in by itself.

Install it in your Dolibarr

From Home → Setup → Modules/Applications → Deploy/Install external modules, or by dropping the ZIP into htdocs/custom/. Like any other Dolibarr module: nothing to compile.

Upload the invoice

From Dolibarr itself: a PDF, a photo taken with a phone, or a batch with several invoices at once.

Check it and validate

The fields land on the supplier invoice. You check what was read, fix whatever needs fixing and validate. In AI mode you can have it arrive already created.

About the Dolibarr module

How much does the module cost?
Nothing. The module is free to install and the classic mode works without signing up for anything. What you pay for, if you want it, is the AI reading service, which has a free plan of 10 pages a month.
Which Dolibarr version do I need?
Dolibarr 16 or later.
Does my invoice leave my server?
Only if you use the AI mode, which is the one that reads photos and scans and therefore needs an external service to look at the document. The classic mode reads the PDF text inside the browser and does not send the document anywhere.
Does it create the invoice for me?
In AI mode, yes: the module can create the supplier invoice with the data it read and leave it ready to validate, or already validated if that is how you configure it. In classic mode it hands you the text so you can take it to the invoice yourself.
Does it work with several companies?
Yes, in both modes. It is compatible with Dolibarr multicompany.
